The White Bicycles are currently active in Siem Reap, Cambodia, in the heart of the old Khmer Empire, Angkor Wat. Cambodia is a country devastated by colonization, multiple wars, civil wars and the infamous Khmer Rouge, leaving the country in ruins. Cambodia is by the UN rated as one of the poorest countries in the world.

Production and distribution of Bio Sand Filters for Clean Drinking Water combined with basic health and sanitation education in rural areas of the province. A joint effort with Trailblazer Foundation (A US funded Charity) and NEDO. The project was started in January 2006 and per 31.12.2007 we provide more than 5000 people with access to clean drinking water. We would like to thank 0yvind Elseth at Norcem, for sponsoring our water filter project as well as providing us with other sponsors. Norcem Provided support for 100 water filters in 2006 and other sponsors for 250 filters that will be distributed and commissioned in 2007. From 2008 focus has been on maintenance of existing filters and to build water stations in selected villages. Supporting Tatouk Primary School. In 2008 funds from TWB has gone to provide a new roof at the school. The total cost was $3.880. |

Norway Cup 2009 The White Bicycle helps to fundraise for The Sangheum Center for Children with an aim to send a whole football team to Norway in 2009. The Sangkheum
Center for Children houses 48 children ranging from 2-17 years old.
