The White Bicycles (TWB) was set up by Ken Oishi in 2006. The idea of TWB was and is to show that it can be possible for local charities to raise funds in a new and sustainable way.
Current projects
Clean drinking water in rural areas
Production and distribution of water filters for clean drinking water combined with basic health and sanitation education in rural areas of the province. The project was started in January 2006 and per 31.12.2010 we provide more than 8000 people with access to clean drinking water.
